Our peaceful, private and pet-friendly guest accommodation has everything you need for a relaxing getaway in BC’s Cariboo area. Located in the historic community of 108 Mile Ranch, it is close to amenities and year-round recreation. Nature is all around you while you are only a 10 minute drive to shopping, services, activities and restaurants in 100 Mile House, BC. Basic breakfast ingredients are provided for your convenience, including coffee, tea, fruit, bread and/or bagels, cereal and yogurt. The space This accommodation is located in a separate part of the building where we live upstairs. Guests with pets must agree to the house rules for bringing their pets. The guest suite has a wonderful view of 108 Mile Lake to relax and enjoy while many species of birds and wildlife entertain you and entice you to find your camera and venture outside. The easy 10 km lake trail in front of the property is perfect for walking or cycling. The suite has a comfortable queen bed, and a convertible sofa is suitable for one adult or two children. The kitchenette has a fridge, coffee maker, toaster, kettle and microwave to help you start or end your day with breakfast or a snack. Then relax on the front patio and listen to the birds sing or watch the stars come out in a beautiful Cariboo evening sky. Morning coffee in the sun room will give you a great start to a restful day here at the lake. Guest access Enjoy our garden and yard with easy access to the lake and trail. A flat 10 km trail around the lake is perfect for walks and bike rides. There is also a connecting trail system for hiking, biking and horseback riding in summer, and skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling in winter. There are dozens of lakes within driving distance for excellent fishing, boating and watersport opportunities. 108 Mile Lake is calm and suitable for canoeing, kayaking and SUP activities. A self-contained pet-friendly guest cabin listed as Peaceful Lakeside Rustic Cabin on the property can accommodate more guests in your group. Other things to note Our suite is pet-friendly and as pet owners, we understand the challenges of finding pet-friendly accommodation. Non-aggressive and non-destructive dogs under their owner’s control are welcome. Please clean up after your pet. Please note that our accommodation may not be suitable for guests with allergies to pets even though cleaning is done after each rental. Level 2 Electric Vehicle charging is available on request. There is a Fast Charging station located 12 kms away at the Visitor Centre in 100 Mile House and one operating at the Chevron station there.
