Welcome to Oaxaca! Have you ever heard the phrase "Mi casa es tu casa"? In essence, we are all family! Travelling is an amazing feeling: to meet people, discover new places and new experiences. At our home we try our best to make you feel comfortable and welcome all the time, but also to give you the space to do it your way. We offer a room located in the north of the city, 30 min away from downtown by public transport and close to nature where it is possible to enjoy a hike in the hills. The space The room has a double bed, desk, wardrobe with hooks, work or reading table, fan and mirror. If you need the iron and hair dryer, just notify us for its preparation. In front of the room you will find a shared bathroom; there is a beautiful flowery courtyard where you can have breakfast, read or meditate; the kitchen is shared and has a coffee maker, stove with oven, refrigerator, toaster, utensils and basic ingredients (oil, salt, sugar, pepper); in the courtyard there is a second shared bathroom. Within the same house but in an area located on the third level, there is a fabulous terrace with a special panoramic view of the mountains, ideal for breakfast, a barbecue or an afternoon of drinks. Its use will be subject to schedule (around 10am -10 pm) and availability from the hosts, but we are flexible and like our guests to enjoy it as much as possible. The access of people outside the reservation inside the establishment is not allowed, unless planned with the hosts in advance. Guest access There's a courtyard and a guest kitchen next to the room, ideal to start one of the most happy moments of the day. Breakfast! The guest quarters are accessible via a stairway down to the lower ground floor. You will be provided with a key for your bedroom door as well as the front door. Other things to note We recommend you live this experience - come and enjoy with us the daily life of Oaxacans. The accommodation is private and manages clear and precise rules of coexistence for the comfort of its inhabitants. We are located in a neighborhood (like almost all of Oaxaca) where there may be sounds on a day-to-day basis (cars, garbage trucks, food vendors, dogs and cats), while we are a family who occasionally have our own special occasions. So if you are looking for absolute silence, this may not be the place. But it is certainly unique and peaceful place for your stay; and if you have any specific questions we will be happy to respond.
