Awesome Girdwood cabin near lifts, hiking, brewery

You will love this quiet cabin surrounded by trees. It’s a great base to explore all that this part of Alaska has to offer. Only 3/4 mile to Alyeska ski resort. Tons of hiking and biking nearby. A short drive will take you to Anchorage, Turnagain Arm, Whittier, or Portage Glacier. Seward is close enough for a day trip for a fishing charter, a wildlife cruise, or a hike at Exit Glacier. After each day’s adventures, come home to this warm and inviting space. The space The whole cabin and property are for your use. There is a deck with a grill and patio chairs as well as a small creek that runs right past the front of the cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need. We provide a drip coffee maker and plenty of filters, but not the coffee. When prior guests leave non-perishable food, we generally leave it for other guests to use. You are free to use any food, condiments, spices in the kitchen. The main living area including living room, kitchen, queen bedroom and full bathroom are all on the main floor, which is up a flight of stairs from the main entrance. This may not be the best location if anyone in your group is not able to navigate stairs. The bathroom on the main floor has a large shower, sink and counter, toilet, cabinets. Also note that there is no TV at the cabin. The master bedroom is on the top floor, up 2 flights of stairs from entrance. It’s large with adjoining sun room and own bathroom. Note, this bathroom is the half bath and does not have a shower or tub, just toilet, sink, counter and medicine cabinet. Basement bedroom has a queen and a twin bunk bed, the basement bathroom has a shower, double sinks with large counter, and toilet. No more than 10 guests. Please note that 10 adults will mean adults sleeping 2 in the king bed, 2 in the queen bed, 1 on each twin bunk including 2 upper which have 175lb limit, and 2 on the full size pull out couch. Other things to note The cabin is in a quiet neighborhood, please respect neighbors.
