Casa Bacuuza Güi - Adobe oasis near downtown Oaxaca

Casa Bacuuza Güi is the smallest of the houses in the Casa Olguin compound and is an open plan, split level house that is suitable for a small family, couples or solo travellers. Pioneer's in the "back to adobe" movement, Marilee and Guillermo built their family complex, CASA OLGUIN, in the 1970's. Stroll through terraced gardens, relax by the pool , feed the fish in the pond, or star-gaze on one of the terraces in this enchanting retreat with distinctive vernacular design. The space The bedroom has one double bed and one single bed and is on a raised level with a small set of stairs and some curtains to separate it from the living room. The living room is a comfortable and beautiful space with high ceilings, two sofas, small dining table, desk and large TV. The separate bathroom is reached by another small set of stairs and boasts a walk in wardrobe, a stunning tiled bath / shower and two sinks as well as wc. The separate kitchen is well equipped and leads out to a private terrace with a hammock that overlooks the shared swimming pool* area. Please note that whilst photos reflect the space accurately, there might be a few minimal changes in furniture layout and art on walls. There is a designated wifi router for the house, please note that we are in the mountains and although it is mostly a reliable service, there are times when the area may go out for minutes or sometimes a few hours. If there is space in our private gated driveway at the time of your visit we will be happy to accommodate your car, otherwise, there is free parking on the street outside. Minimum 7 night stay.
