There are only 10 Culinary Cottages; handcrafted luxury outbuildings nestled within a private section of Flora Farms. Flora Farms is a tranquil, bountiful, fully functioning, hand tended organic farm in the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains in San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico. This sanctuary is just a mile from the Sea of Cortez and the Puerto Los Cabos marina. The space We are fractional owners of this very special place at Flora Farms. If you are looking for a very unique and memorable getaway, you will not be disappointed. Culinary Cottage living includes 2,000 square feet of interior living, with 2 full bedrooms and bathrooms, plus a den/TV room with a queen sofa bed; with ability to comfortably sleep up to 6 adults. Each Cottage features a full yard with covered patios, fire pit and hand tended private gardens from which guests can harvest. Due to incredible interest and the Cottages' boutique inventory, availability is limited. Guest access Currently, Cottage Renters enjoy access to the same private, on and off site benefits and experiences as Cottage Owners. There is the community pool and hot tub, there are harvesting privileges in the farm fields, private community dining as well as in cottage dining. Owners arrive through a private entry; have parking for two cars at each Cottage and 24-hour security. In the near future, a spa with yoga /pilates studio and juice bar, filtered swimmable family pond and bocce ball court will be completed. Flora's Farm Bar is a beautifully designed field side gathering place for relaxation and celebration. Along with traditional cocktails and wine and beer on tap, the Farm Bar serves up a full-range of fruit and vegetable infused specialty cocktails such as the heirloom carrot Farmarita (the Farm Bar's spin on a traditional Margarita) and the Farm Julep, made with fresh watermelon juice. Flora Farm Grocery is stocked with Flora's fresh and organically grown and raised produce, meats, eggs, breads, sweets, pickled goods, sauces, dressings and preserves. Flora's vegetables, herbs, flowers and fruit are all picked fresh daily. The bread is naturally risen and wood-oven baked each morning. Flora raises, butchers and cures all of its charcuterie. Prepared foods and local crafts are also available. The Live Work Shops at Flora Farms provide an opportunity for local artisans to connect with the Flora Farm community. The shops include The Art Market, Eduardo Sanchez, James Perse, El Micro Brewery, Santo Cabo, Self Edge and El Wine Bar y Café. More shops are scheduled to open soon.
