Red Fox Retreat - Thunder Cove Cottage

Bright and clean cottage in Thunder Cove, a short stroll to the best beach on the island. This vacation property is ideal for families or couples looking for a clean and well-appointed place to call home after a long day touring the island, golfing, fishing, or just relaxing on the beach. Enjoy your coffee on the front porch, a glass of wine on the back deck, or a bonfire in the fire pit. Kids love to play on the large lot. New for Summer 2024, we have added a bunkie with bunk beds & laundry. The space This is a clean, well-appointed cottage with everything you need to enjoy your time on the island. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare an island meal, and the cottage is comfy to hang around inside or out. Fresh towels and linens, board games and DVDs for the rare rainy days, and a quaint ocean front community where kids still run around without shoes on. The cottage is fully equipped, but still somewhat rustic - there is no dishwasher or dryer, just a small sink hook up washer, though we will provide directions and info for local laundromats, should you require. Wifi has been added as of July 2019, and there is a smart TV to use Netflix. New outdoor shower added summer 2021. Guest access Everything in the cottage and on the property is yours to use. There is a firepit outside the front doors - if no wood is on the deck, it is readily available as you drive around the island - many people will leave bundled bags of firewood for sale ($5 per bag, usually) - you should see a few places as you drive from the cottage to Malpeque, and Kensington.
