This side of a large spacious duplex style cabin comfortably sleeps 8 people. Built in 2007, our Polar Bear Cabin was built with Alaskan logs. The upstairs has a half bath and bedroom with 4 single beds. Downstairs features living room area, and a bedroom with 2 sets of bunkbeds. Bathroom w/ shower, full kitchen, BBQ, chest freezer, internet, cable and DVD player. There is parking right next to your cabin. *NO parties, cabin is only for paying guests* We're nestled at the edge of the Chugach National Forest and the Prince William Sound in Cordova, Alaska. We are located 6.5 miles away from the city of Cordova. We are accredited members of the Better Business Bureau. You can relax in rustic comfort in peaceful solitude at the Polar Bear Cabin. We have a kayak available to use free of charge. Laundry Facilities are available in town at the Laundromat, In the months of August and September we have higher prices as our cabins become Sportsfishing cabins for our Wild Coho salmon run in the Eyak River. PETS Pets are welcome if you give us a heads up of their stay and we ask for a $10/day pet fee upon arrival. FISH PROCESSING No processing fish inside the cabins, we have a designated fish station on the property. Our home and office is located here on the property and I am always available to answer questions! We're 6.5 miles away from the beautiful small town of Cordova, our cabins are in a quiet place, it is sure to be a peaceful getaway for our guests. Nestled on the edge of the Chugach National Forest, this Alaskan cabin is fully equipped with everything you need to ensure you have an enjoyable and pleasant stay while you explore the great outdoors. The Cordova area provides a unique opportunity to interact with the wildlife and Alaskan wilderness, making a visit to our Polar Bear Cabin not just a vacation, but an experience. Cordova is so unique and tucked away that you will only arrive via plane or ferry. It is very easy to navigate around our small town and explore mainstreet and all the shops, but please let me know if you have any questions about getting around Cordova.
