Waterfall Cottage

This is a unique single room cottage, next to a waterfall and fire pit. Wi-Fi. Smart TV, air conditioning and heat. Tall Toilet, hot shower, kitchenette with hot plate. A creek walk out back that is as beautiful, as any hike in WV. For disclosure, on very cold nights when below freezing, the space may be a little chilly. The space This is an out-of-the-box living space that is heated & air-conditioned. In 1952, it was called, The Blockhouse, and was built for holding farm tools. Today, it is one large space with high beamed ceilings, privacy, and all the amenities of a beautiful hotel room. There is a waterfall, which makes soothing sounds outside the windows. There is also a fire pit and firewood for use with this cottage. Valley Falls and Tygart Lake State Parks, are both nearby. Walmart is 2 miles away. A mile long private creek runs through the valley behind the house. There is no other creek walk or hiking trail that is as beautiful, in all of West Virginia. Other things to note There are so many things to see and do around this area. One can hike the 1 mile creek behind the cottage which may be one of the best hikes in the country. Tygart Lake State Park is nearby, with an upscale waterpark and boating recreation. Valley Falls State Park is 2 miles away. The Int’l Mother’s Day Shrine is here in Grafton.
