Bed and breakfast in Paris

Stay in an upstairs bedroom in the home of an organist and organ-builder, at 6,000 feet in the Rocky Mountains near scenic Bear Lake and the Bear River Mountains. Enjoy the quietness of a rural setting away from traffic, surrounded by fields and farmland, broken occasionally a burst of sound from real organ pipes. The space Pipe Piper B & B sits on one acre of ground overlooking the Paris Tabernacle and downtown Paris. Bear Lake is 15 minutes away, and the road to Paris Canyon is one block away. Here is a quiet and cozy upstairs room with a twin size bed. Bathrooms are shared, but two are available, one on the main floor, and one in the basement. Bear Lake Valley is a beautiful rural area surrounded by mountains and graced by a lake famed for its blue waters. Paris has a beautiful stone tabernacle built by Mormon pioneers in the 1880s. Nearby, in Paris Canyon, you can visit Paris Spring and the Paris Ice Caves. We have three rooms listed, which will accomodate up to 5 people. Guest access You are welcome to join us in the kitchen and dining room, which are just at the bottom of the stairs leading to your room, and you may relax in our front room (with cathedral ceilings and eight windows to let in the sun and provide a panoramic view of the town. The house sits on a one-acre lot, surrounded by a large yard, where you may relax and enjoy the cool mountain air. The front room houses our pipe organ of 3001 pipes, 51 ranks and four manuals, a true rarity. It includes pipes from the old organ of the Salt Lake Tabernacle. Also found here are a Mason and Hamlin grand piano and a large electronic organ. If you are musically inclined, you are welcome to use them. During your stay We and possibly other guests will be sharing the main floor with you. We keep quiet from 10:30 PM until 7:30 AM. Guest rooms are upstairs, your bathroom is on the main floor -- with a tub room, a toilet room, and a sink in between . Our rooms (including bathrooms) are in the basement. We are home most of the time.
