The Lake House

Cozy 2Bed/2bath lake house only 70 miles from the Twin Cities. Perfect for quick getaways, for couples, families or solo travelers. Property has a fantastic view. The house has all amenities and all you need for enjoying great meals (gas grill, gas stove). Enjoy beautiful sunsets while barbecuing, or sit around the fire pit, right by the lake. Cross lake is beautiful. Good for swimming, kayaking or rowing. PLEASE NOTE: - MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS IS 5 - THE HOUSE HAS NO TELEVISIONS The space Great lake views from both levels. One bedroom and one full bath on each floor. Big deck for hanging out and eating meals. The house looks west with great views and lots of light. Lower floor stays quite a bit cooler in the summer, but thanks to radiant heating system, is nice an warm in the winter. Upstairs fireplace sets a perfect mood for sipping tea or wine at the bar corner. Since we want to enjoy the lake and the nature, we haven't installed any TV's or sounds systems in the house. There is wireless internet, for the guests to surf and stream on their devices. We have a wireless speaker that can be used for listening to music. Guest access Guests can access the entire house, the yard, the dock and we have an inflatable paddle board, an Alumacraft row boat, and a kayak that are also for the guests to take advantage of. If you want to throw a frisbee or play ball, feel free to use the vacant corner lot across the road. The garage is not for guest use at this time. Other things to note Cross lake is great for fishing, swimming, boating, kayaking. Our Floe Dock is in use from May through September. Internet service has been updated in April 2021 — we now have a DSL service that has download speed of around 30MB.
