The space ***The Government of the municipality of Los Cabos is implementing the Environmental Sanitation Tax. This is a new tax that will be dedicated to the betterment of the local community. All reservations made from Sep 8, 2022 and on will be subject to pay this tax. The tax is $33.68 Mexican Pesos per room per night (~$1.70 USD depending on the exchange rate) regardless of the occupancy and will be charged at check-out on top of your paid rent. The new tax will support government investment on environmental infrastructure, sustainability practices, and safety and security, among other projects.*** Montecristo Villas are outfitted to suit your needs, assuring you a memorable and rewarding getaway in this unique and spectacular setting. Your home away from home embraces every possible comfort, with luxurious features that include your own private infinity pool, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzi, large terraces, a central family room, reading areas and walk-in closets. *Please know that our listings are not directly linked to a specific villa, but all our villas offer the same amenities and layouts. Also, all villas have a private pool and private jacuzzi on the terrace. Views from each villa is different; we cannot guarantee that the view from your villa will be exactly as shown in the photos, but it will be very similar. Please note that we do not take location requests (and for people who are familiar with Montecristo, know that we manage villas in both Phase I and Phase 2). **Our prices are based on the number of guests. Make sure to book for the correct amount of guests, if you arrive with more guests that what you booked for, the extra person fee doubles when reporting the extra guests during or after check in. If you are unsure of the final number of guests, you can still add them on prior to your arrival at the original extra guests fee, just make sure to do it at least a couple of days prior arrival to avoid increased charges. ***Housekeeping is not included but can be added for only $80 USD a day. ****Please read our house rules, so there are not surprises during your stay as the Montecristo Community is very strict. *****We don't provide salt/pepper, condiments, oils, foil, plastic wrap, coffee, sugar, etc. Quivira Vacation Rentals understands how crucial it is to establish new standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and social distancing. To ensure a safe environment for our guests and staff, we have stablished the following preventive protocols for COVID-19 disinfection, hygiene, general sanitation, and food safety (following the recommendations of a global leader in hotel consulting): Standards of Cleanliness: • Hand sanitizing stations have been placed in strategic locations throughout the resorts such as the front desk, restaurant entrances, and all other public areas. • Cleaning and disinfection protocols that use certified sanitization products have been implemented and are focused on high-touch areas. • In addition, a comprehensive, general sanitization by a certified third party will be performed prior to reopening, as well as afterward on a periodic basis, according to the recommendations of health authorities. Upon arrival: • Suitcase sanitization (external) in steam cabin or with sanitizing product or special device. • Guest sanitization cabin, and infrared digital thermometers for temperature check. Guests with temperatures over 38° C/100.4° F will be checked by a doctor and may not be allowed access. • Mobile pre-check-in available Room Amenities: • Hand sanitizer and sanitizing spray as part of in-room amenities; masks and gloves available on request. • Paper amenities, pens, and magazines will be removed from rooms (available on request). Social Distancing, Personal Hygiene & Health: • Maximum of 2 persons in elevators, excepting family members. • Furniture in public areas will be rearranged per social distancing guidelines (minimum of 1.80 meters/6 feet). Pool, Spa & Fitness Areas: • Loungers in pool areas will be set in groups of 2 or 4, which will then be separated by distances of 1.80 meters/6 feet. • Sanitization of equipment in Fitness Centers as well as in wet areas in Spa after each use. • Maximum capacity set for Fitness Center and maximum capacity reduced for Spa. Food and Beverage: • Furniture will be rearranged in restaurants and bars (1.80 meters/6 feet) and maximum capacities will be established, per social distancing guidelines. • Social distancing reminders on all tables. • Use of masks by food and beverage staff. • Contactless room service available. • Menus will be available on mobile devices and physical menus will be removed. Quivira Golf Club: • Sanitization of golf carts and balls before and after use. • Maximum capacities established for reception and practice areas. • Intervals between tee times increased to 15 minutes. • One golf cart per person, unless otherwise requested by family members. • New rules established to limit touch points during play (example: flagsticks to remain in the hole, bunker rakes to be removed, etc.) In case COVID-19 cases are detected, the following procedures are in place: • An on-site detection team, comprised of a physician, the general manager, operations manager, and head of security, in coordination with health authorities, has been created. • Protocol has also been established to handle the situation should a potential case of COVID-19 be detected. • 24/7 medical service available. Destination Protocols: Enhanced procedures will be implemented at the SJD International Airport, including thermal cameras and travel background checks on all arriving passengers. The destination is also being certified by a program overseen by the Ministry of Health, which includes new standards for restaurants, hotels, water sports and touristic activities. Property management will continue to monitor guidelines and update the procedures, as necessary. We look forward to serving you, and pledge to do so in the safest possible environment. OUTSIDE SERVICES: Please be advised that outside services are not allowed in the Quivira Los Cabos Community. This includes: private chef, catering services, grocery shopping services, maid services, etc. Only the services provided by the Pueblo Bonito Resorts are permitted. EXTRA GUEST CHARGE: Any guest added after the original booking has been made will incur an additional fee. Please make sure the number of people on your reservation corresponds to the total number of guests staying. All guests must be registered, and all applicable guest fees must be paid. The extra guest fee for guests added to the reservation after the booking is made is $50 USD a night per person. This cost will increase to $100 USD a night per person for additional guests added during or after check-in. VILLA ASSIGNMENT: Villa assignment will only be confirmed at check-in; it will not be confirmed nor guaranteed at any point before. This is because we are a multi-unit vacation rental property and our villas are assigned based on our reservation's departures and arrivals. Thank you for your understanding. EARLY CHECK-INS: You are welcome to head directly to the clubhouse to the reception desk at the time you arrive. We will not be able to confirm at any point whether the villa will be ready for early check in, regardless of the circumstances. We can only confirm that it will be ready at 4:00 p.m; however, if on the day of your check-in we should manage to have it ready earlier, we will be happy to let you in. Keep in mind that you are allowed to use the facilities at the clubhouse while you wait. Our team will also store your luggage and groceries until your villa is ready. EXPERIENCE: This is a vacation rental rented experience, which is different than a timeshare or hotel "rental" booked through the Resorts. IMPORTANT: Several amenities that are included by the resorts are not included for vacation rentals. The amenities we offer for this vacation rental are in line with those offered across the vacation rental industry, as well as AirBnb's suggestions for "essential amenities."
