Our Tiny House Cabin has a 1-2 person infared sauna is located just 5 miles from downtown Talkeetna. The cabin itself only sleeps 6 people, but you can book a large party if you have tents and RV's, send inquiry. Our cabin is designed after the "tiny house" movement. For a large group, in Spring 2023 your group can book 2 other cabins on the front of the property. Enjoy a buddy fishing trip, Romantic weekend, girls night, or a family getaway. Pets on approval with pet fee. Excellent Wifi! This cabin has a large circular driveway, two picnic tables, a private fire pit area, and outside chairs. Enjoy coffee on the front porch chairs in the morning. You are welcome to book a large group utilizing outdoor space by adding a tent or RV, but the cabin only sleeps 6, please inquire for larger groups. Enjoy our small propane grill or roast hotdogs over the fire. Although, the lofts have sturdy custom made railings and ladders, we do not feel they would be safe for infants/small children or people with limited mobility. We have one queen bed loft, two twin beds in a second loft, and the living couch is a click-clack fold down sleeping sofa (70.5"x30.5"), and we provide a twin size 2" memory foam roll sleeping lounger for the floor. Pack-in-play available upon request. Our cabin is decorated in Alaskan art and photography, with hotel quality cotton sheets and towels. Our kitchen is fully stocked with cooking/baking ware and utensils. We have a coffee pot, microwave, 20" range, full size dishwasher, and dorm size refrigerator. We also provide a high power Ninja Blender for those smoothie or blended ice drink lovers. The dining area is furnished with a sturdy solid birchwood pub table and 4 stools. The cabin has 3 flat screen TV's, one in each loft and one downstairs where you can sign into your Roku accounts and EXCELLENT Wifi. Many places in Alaska do not have good Wifi, but we are in a good location! Cleanliness has always been a high priority with us! We highly recommend all guest purchase trip insurance. You will have access to the whole cabin and the property surrounding the cabin. There will be two other tiny cabins on the front of the property Spring 2023. You cannot book an RV or tent site without booking the cabin. We live locally and are available if you have questions. We provide a lovely check-in binder with a lot of local information and activities. We are very involved and active in our community if you would like local references, let us know! We are located in a very quiet and pristine subdivision called Fish Lake Landing, very close to Fish Lake. You can walk to Fish Lake and enjoy a flight tour to Denali. You can also access a new summer trail at the end of the driveway over the hill. Fish Lake Trail is just over a half mile to lake access with your kayak, pack raft, or paddle boards. It is also a multi use summer and winter ski trail that connects to other trails in the winter. We are located adjacent to the 14 mile paved bike path that runs along the Talkeetna Spur Road. Enjoy biking to local lakes, downtown, or just walking the dogs. We are near many lakes, hiking, and skiing in winter. You can ski, fat bike, and snow shoe right from the cabin. Please be aware that Sunshine Transit runs along the Talkeetna Spur Road on a regular schedule. We highly recommend a car for transportation. Please know if the fire danger is high, and the borough bans campfires, we will let you know. Please be very careful to monitor and maintain your camp fire and always obey fire restrictions. Use hose to put any fire out completely. Be bear aware. Never leave trash out, you will attract bears. We highly recommend all guest purchase trip insurance. We allow larger groups if they are family friendly and respect the noise level of they other cabins and neighborhood. We do not allow fireworks at any time or parties. *Outside propane grill available in summer only. Please clean fish where you catch them. Fish odors or cigarette/vape/smoking substance odors in cabin or trash cans will incur extra charges. In Alaska it’s customary to remove shoes when entering a home. We like to keep the dirt outside:)
