Welcome to the award winning Cupples Cottages! This 600sf flat was recently renovated and is beautifully furnished. When built in 1952 by my late grandfather these units were offered fully furnished providing temporary housing primarily to the construction workers living away from their families working on my grandfather's construction crew. Fast forward over 70 years and 2 generations and the property has been reimagined as Cupples Cottages Vacation Rentals, operating since 2017. The space Cupples Cottages offers warm, cozy accommodations at budget friendly prices. Our goal is to offer something special, unique. Our four standard cottages offer fully equipped kitchens, dining room, living room, bedroom and a single bath. Each unit features a wifi enabled smart tv, ready for you to log into your favorite streaming service! The property itself spans a total of 6 city lots, occupying half a city block. We feature a free on site laundry facility with complimentary detergents and boast over 10,000sf of developed outdoor lawn/garden green space. Between the expansive space and the rich community history, it is a property unlike any other in downtown Anchorage. Guest access The property consists of two duplexes, four 1-bedroom rental cottages plus the full time on-site "host residence". The property also features a large private parking lot with ample off-street parking, center patio with BBQ grill and picnic tables, free shared laundry facility, front and side yards, which are all available to our guests. If you intend to use marijuana during your trip to Alaska, we are not the right fit for you. Please find a different listing. Due to odor transfer from skin, hair and clothing which results in odors entering and permeating our cottages we request our guests remain "marijuana free" for the duration of their stay regardless of where you may choose to consume.
