Feel at home instead of like in a hotel room The space Hut on the beach Casa Cereza is a romantic house made of local materials (lots of wood, palm roof, Mexican tiles) outside a fishing village, right on the beach. Holbox Island is one of the last jewels in the Mexican Caribbean, unfortunately now on everyone's lips and well visited all year round. If you like long, white sandy beaches, colorful shells, excellent fresh fish and seafood, this is the place to be. The apartment, which occupies the entire 1st floor of the house, is very spacious and yet homey and cozy. It also offers a terrace on 3 sides with a beautiful view, which invites you to lie in the hammock and dream. From the roof terrace also with sea view. The typical Mexican kitchen is fully equipped and integrated into the spacious living room. The bedroom is extremely comfortable with a king-size bed and a small private sunset terrace. The house is about 500 m west of the village and can be reached via a 10-minute walk to the beach or 5 minutes by bike. Arrival via Cancun (160 km), shuttle service possible. To the island: Holbox is a 42 km long sandbank on the northernmost corner of Yucatan. There is only one village on the island, the rest is untouched.
