Historical Furnished house (built in 1882) , in downtown area. Casa Almar is located 25 min. from Miramar Beach, 3 min. from downtown plaza, and 3 min from the Laguna Del Carpintero. / The space This is a one room suite (397 sq ft) with your own private bathroom, furnished with custom made furniture and elegantly decorated for guests to relax like royalty. Since the first step to the shared courtyard of the house there is a relaxing mood. Casa Almar is grand! Its the perfect place for you to relax in luxury Louis XIV style. This Luxury Louis XIV Suite has its own entrace facing the shared courtyard with a view of the garden. There are a few supplies within the suite to make your stay comfortable: tea, coffe, sugar, and a few snacks from you to choose from. Please note these items are not for you to take with you - same as the shampoo and soap bottles. Keep in mind this is a home, not a hotel. We have a private parking lot. The entrance and exit to the parking is in the "Calle Canseco" side of the property. In other words... around the corner. The key to go in & out of the parking you will be able to find inside your suite. Guest access A lot of people walk in down-town. Uber is available. Renting a car is recommended. Street parking (free) is available right in front of the house. The public transport that goes to the beach, to the Historic Center of Tampico or Laguna del Carpintero makes the stops at the corner of the house. If you prefer a trusted driver to take you were you need to go, please let us know. Edgar (driver) charges 100MXPS to take you or pick you up from the beach and 70MX Pesos to take you or pick you up from the airport. Other things to note This listing is ideal for two people or three people if one of them is a baby. Baby crib available in the suite. This suite is next-door (same floor) as the King Size suite (480 sq ft). For a family with older kids it is recommended, when available to rent both suites (the second floor to yourselfs) for a wonderful stay. Please keep in mind this is a private home, not a hotel.
