This house is located in the suburbs quite close to the main tourist destination called Las Hadas/La Audiencia (10 mins. drive) and right in the geographical center of the city. There is a small park less than 50 yards away and convenience stores within 3 minutes walking distance. Plenty of street food vendors set shop during the day and at night in the main avenue (Violetas). All the main stores in the city (Walmart, Soriana, Aurrera, etc.) and restaurants are within 3-15 minutes driving distance. La Casita is located near a main avenue (Violetas/Manzanillo) which is just a block away, you can catch a cab anytime of the day or night, the fare is usually 3 - 5 dlls. **** You can also catch the local bus routes in the main avenue, the bus fare is about $0.5dlls. ----- Renting a car at the airport seems to beat any other transportation choices, and that is my best advice: RENT A CAR AT THE AIRPORT. I usually recommend Sixt because they do not require you to buy insurance from them, you can buy your own insurance elsewhere and is usually cheaper. ----- The house has a full working kitchen with a fridge, microwave, stove and a blender.
