Crowsnest Cabin
Description
Crowsnest Cabin is surrounded by nature while also situated conveniently in historic downtown Coleman. The Crowsnest Pass offers gorgeous hikes and scenery, world-famous fly fishing, kayaking, snowmobiling, mountain biking, canoeing, and skiing. Nearby are three ski resorts- we are located 7 minutes from Pass Powderkeg, 45 min from Fernie, and 45 min from Castle Mountain. Other nearby destinations are Waterton National Park and Beaver Mines Lake. The space The main cabin is heated by a furnace, but the sitting room is heated with a gas fireplace which is lovely for those cold winter nights. The cabin has two full bathrooms--please note that there is an open ensuite bathroom in the guest room with a tub, and a separate full bathroom in the hallway. Upstairs, an open concept loft room hosts one queen bed located at the front of the loft, while the opposite side of the loft has a bunk bed. This space is great for a family with small children. In the downstairs guest bedroom, there is a queen bed with a single bunk on top. Outside there is a firepit for use (bring your own wood) and a playhouse for children. Guest access The entire cabin and playhouse are available for use. Other things to note A thermostat is located beside the fridge that heats the main house. If you like snowshoeing in the winter, you are welcome to use any of the pairs we have on the back porch gear shelf. Crowsnest Cabin is over 100 years old, and is a rustic historic home. It features much of its original building structure from the stone chimney to the original floors.
