Whaletown Lagoon Floathouse

Our " floathouse" has everything a guest could want, privacy and a beautiful waterfront location on the Whaletown Lagoon. There is a shared family dock for launching your kayaks, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the changing of the tides. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels with modern updates. A former bunk house for hand logging camps and part of our floating household, its traveling days are now over. The space Our "floathouse" has been a vacation rental for over 15 years and contains most everything one would want. The kitchen has everything needed for meal preparation and baking and a variety of small appliances. The bedroom has a double bed and the living room has a sofa bed. There is a shower in the bathroom and an outdoor bathtub on the deck overlooking the lagoon. For entertainment the eclectic library should satisfy everyone's taste and includes a collection of marine and wildlife references and First Nations history. There is also a variety of board games.
