Buildings that were abandoned and vacant for decades have been sold and undergoing renovation. Construction is everywhere. The Streetcar has driven development along its route. Expect noise from construction or other urban sounds. The building has 2 apartments. You might hear the other Guests. They might hear you. :) Again, please be aware this is an urban apartment. It is a safe area with a Walk Score of 98 but you might be asked for change, which is common with most cities. This is the City. Expect all the nuisances of a City-noise, panhandling, construction, traffic, sketchy people, trash, drunken Sorority Girls, loud car speakers, etc. You will encounter people or every race and culture and income level-If this makes you uncomfortable at all, I would not recommend Over-the-Rhine or downtown in general and would recommend a suburb of Cincinnati. If you are looking for a quiet restful experience-stay in the suburbs. This is a vibrant area during the day and night. The Park is across the street with joyful kiddy shrieking noise and basketball games at the court next door. Street parking is either metered or requires a parking permit. There are free area a little further away if you need to park more than 1 car. If you want to find a place to have fun with family and friends– this is it. This is the area.
