Quaint, nicely furnished , cozy bedroom with private bathroom and kitchenette area ( small fridge, microwave, electric kettle, dishes and utensils, variety of hot beverages)... in a lovely cottage on a hillside in the town of Port Antonio. The area is quiet with friendly neighbours. Restaurant & shops are nearby. 8 minutes walk to the town centre. Route taxis are less than a minute away The space The house was recently refurbished with a modern bathroom. The room comfortably sleeps 2. There's hot water and standing fan , mosquito net and insect screen on the window. There's a lovely patio outside for outdoor dining. Private entrance in a garden setting. Guest access Guests will be able to use the verandah at the front of the house and the Deck with seating area in the garden at the front During your stay This is my vacation (weekend) home, so I am not usually there. I am not the kind of host who interferes because I think when one is on vacation they should have peace and privacy, but I can always be contacted via telephone or email if needed. Other things to note The home is part of a local community so you might be greeted with friendly hellos by people on their way to work or school. There's parking available for the property. The road is not a through road so there's not much traffic and most of the neighbours do not drive. The house is on a hill so the driveway and walkway up to the house is sloped (not flat).
