My partner Laura is a French/Spanish macramé maker (@sweetweaves on insta) and yogi and I am an Argentinian musician (and a lawyer). We are a couple who met in Oaxaca and decided to start a new life here. The house is located near conveniences such as: - a laundry; - a pharmacy; - a supermarket; - a local market. Those conveniences are all on a close walking distance. For those of you who like to walk or run, the house is also close to the Cerro del Fortín, a moutain with hiking paths and great views on the city. You will also be on a walking distance of many tourist attractions, such as the Zócalo main square and the Cathedral, the Temple of Santo Domingo, museums, local markets, the arcs of Xochimilco, the park El Llano, the beautiful ethnobotanical garden and much more to discover! Oaxaca is known for its delicious food. Try the typical specialties in one of our favorite restaurants, such as El Ancestral or Chepiche, all on a short walking distance from our guest house. We also offer to reserve a taxi for a tour to Monte Alban, the Tule tree, Mezcal distilleries, Mitla, Hierve el Agua and many more sights in the direct surroundings of the city. For more local tips you are more than welcome to ask us whenever you want. For an unique and foremost unforgettable stay in Oaxaca! There is public transport but we walk everywhere. Everything is close by!
