B’antiox Guesthouse is located deep in the Guatemala Jungle just 350 meters from Semuc Champey. We can send someone to pick you up in Lanquin if you do not have a 4/4. We are not a party place. We offer a free educational tour of our private reserve and sanctuary. We also offer a chocolate making class. If you are looking for a genuine jungle experience with all of the jungle sights and sounds, then we are for you. See you soon! The space Our property is overflowing with indigenous plants and wildlife, including fruit trees, spices, and many species of parrots and butterflies. Bird, parrot and butterfly tours free. Hiking tours of the property and our mirador, day or night are available for free for amazing views and sounds of nature. We just ask that you give a small donation to your tour guide as a way to help support his family. The view of the stars are incredible from our mirador. The free educational tour of our land is between 2 to 2.5 hours and will consist of learning about all our fruit trees, spice plants and other plants used for medicinal purposes by the Mayans for centuries. A Mayan chocolate making experience is also available in our kitchen for a small fee. Family style dinners are served at an affordable rate. Guest access You may hike both of our mountains for that true jungle experience. During your stay We are available to you at all times during your stay. Other things to note Due to the amount of wildlife on our property and to respect the local community, we refrain from music being played except through the use of personal headphones.
