The "Casa de la Luna" is located 1 hour outside of San Cristobal de las Casas. It is a small cabin built traditionally with natural materials. It is surrounded by nature and offers stunning views over the Grijalva river valley from its large terrace. It is the perfect place to rest, retreat and escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Ranch “Lum Ha “ dedicated to reforestation and permaculture invites you to enjoy an unforgettable stay! The space Rancho Lum Ha' has a stretch of 7 hectares, which encompass varied and enchanting vegetation, wonderful sunrises and sunsets, rocky hills and an exceptional diversity of birds. We invite you to take walks on the property, to meet and discover our animals and plants and to immerse yourself in the world of permaculture. Guest access The cabin is equiped with a small kitchenette where you can cook yourself if you wish. All the property is at your leisure, you can visit our greenhouse, garden, animals and learn with us about their care and management. Other things to note •There are no shops or supermarkets nearby. If you want to shop, you will have to go to Betania (25 minutes), Teopisca (45 minutes) or San Cristóbal de las Casas (50 minutes). All three options are accessible by public transport (taxi and/or bus). • On the ranch we have dogs, cats, sheep, pigs, donkeys, ducks and chickens. In addition to the variety of wild animals and insects in the field. • No pets allowed at the ranch • Bathrooms are dry compost latrines.
