Port Alsworth Getaway

A cozy two bedroom apartment located on the outskirts of Port Alsworth. Each spacious bedroom has its own bed and closet with dark curtains for those not used to the midnight sun. The main room has a sofa and easy chair for lounging after a day of adventure. Kitchen table and coffee table provide plenty of eating and laptop space. This makes the perfect, comfortable base camp for all of your adventures in Lake Clark National Park! The space A school across the street with open playground. Your bnb is located in the basement of a multi level home. Guest access Full kitchen including oven/stovetop, refrigerator/freezer, microwave and double sink. Bathroom has full size washer and dryer and custom tiled rain shower. Each bedroom has its own closet, as well as two common storage closets in the main rooms. Smart TV and WiFi are included along with a Blueray player. Other things to note Port Alsworth is a remote Alaska village, there is no road access. You must fly in a small aircraft to get here. Either fly yourself (we can help you find you a tiedown) or book your flights through one of the local air taxis who have daily flights. Lake Clark Air (with their own website) Lake and Peninsula Air (with their own website) There are no grocery stores here, and we do not provide food. Either bring groceries with you or pay an expediter to shop for you. 1. Bring groceries with you - there are grocery stores short taxi/uber rides from the airports in Anchorage. 2. Ask us to recomend an expediter in Anchorage who can shop for you and ship your groceries out before you arrive. There is a food truck open afternoons (summer only) Mon-Sat that sells good burgers/hotdogs/milkshakes. There is a small gift/coffee shop by the water at Lake Clark Air (summer only)
