Serene Lake House in Lands End

Beautiful water front property. The view opens up to the lake and offers a prime spot for watching the otters taking a dive in the morning, the blue heron hunting for his lunch, and seeing the sun go down behind the hills across the lake. The house is built with family activities in mind. The open floor-plan with kitchen island is inviting guests to engage -- and offers pockets of retreat for those wanting to lounge. The space Outside, you can sit and enjoy a slight breeze from the lake in the shade. The enclosed patio has separate air condition, it houses a third small bedroom and family room with table tennis and additional sofa. The master bedroom has one king bed, the front bedroom is equipped with one twin daybed that can be expanded to a double twin bed. For additional guests, we offer the queen sized sofa bed in the living room and/or an inflatable twin air-mattress. All mattresses are memory foam mattresses from IKEA (Matrand). They provide firmness while being comfortable. When you book, we will ask you to specify the beds you want to have prepared for your stay. We also encourage you to reach out during your stay should you find something missing. There are two full bathrooms, one with shower and one with bathtub. Big pantry adjacent to kitchen. Separate laundry room with Bosch washer/dryer, ironing equipment, and line drying. Nice outside space for lush summer nights. Guest access Self check-in with keypad. You will have the space to yourself except the garage. Other things to note Driveway: Our driveway is 17 feet wide and 36 feet long. Boat Launch: Free Community Boat Launch closely in Lakeport. We provide a small floating dock. You need to take care of vessel inspection before launching. BBQ: We have a charcoal BBQ with a small smoker attached. We provide charcoal for you to get started. Fireplace: Enjoy the cozy warmth from the fireplace at the end of the day. You are free to use logs and wood that is there.
