We have furnished the house with all the items we use on a regular basis to support our outdoor adventuring in the San Juan Mountains to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. Our house has ample room for you to spread out all of your gear and local guide books to help you plan for your next day’s adventure. To help after your day in the mountains, we have multiple boot dryers, a high capacity washer & dryer, and lots of hanging hooks to organize or dry out all of your gear. We are both avid adventures and can give suggestions on the area’s best climbs, skis and hikes. After your day exploring Ouray you will enjoy our home's open living space with the living room, dining room, and kitchen in close proximity which invites togetherness and easy conversation. In addition the Master bedroom has beautiful unique beetle kill wood finishes and a separate seating area for reading or relaxing. If you're looking for a guide to partner with for ice climbing or backcountry skiing please reach out to us and we can help you achieve your best day in the mountains. We have a gas grill located outside for guests to use. We generally are able to help with whatever comes up. We can also provide great local knowledge of activities, restaurants, etc. in the area. We have experience with ice climbing, backcountry skiing, canyoning, hiking, rock climbing, biking, and most other outdoor activities in the area. Our Tumble-Inn home is located in downtown Ouray and is within easy walking distance from the best Ouray has to offer including the following: hot springs pool, fitness center, and spa, the Ouray Brewery, Mouse’s Chocolates, local restaurants, mountain guide services, Ouray Mountain Sports, jeep rentals, local shopping venues, the Wright Opera House, Ouray Historical Museum, and the Perimeter Hiking Trail. Its easy to drive to Ouray or take one of the many shuttle options from the Montrose Airport. Once at our house everything in town is within easy walking distance . The Tumble In house has no TV. Enjoy your vacation free from flashing screens! We also do not have a dishwasher however everything needed for hand washing dishes is available in the fully supplied kitchen. As with almost all houses in Ouray, Tumble inn has no air conditioning.
