Cozy suite in Ajijic downtown
Rosa is a charming one bedroom apartment in a nine unit guesthouse named Casa Calé in the heart of Ajijic. Only two blocks from the main square at the San Andres church, and two blocks from the lake Chapala boardwalk it is a brief walk to numerous restaurants, galleries, various kinds of shopping and more. Early checkin or late checkout - we can accommodate for most cases! The private suite contains a living/dining room, a specious bedroom with king size bed, a large closet space, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchenette, including an electric range, fridge, microwave and a coffee maker, and is suitable for longer stay guests. In addition to their private suite, guests have access to a large lobby, an outdoor shaded patio and beautiful little backyard with a fountain. Those areas are shared and offer opportunities to connect with other travelers. Ajijic - Lonely Planet Quote: "Ajijic (pronounced 'ah-hee-heek') is an outpost of North American retirees and by far the most sophisticated and energetic of the towns that line the northern shore of Lago de Chapala. While the gringos may have put Ajijic on the map by opening boutiques, galleries and restaurants galore, much of the town retains its charming, colonial-era vibe, with cobblestone lanes and quiet streets of colorfully painted houses. It makes a delightful place to sit back and relax awhile..." Within a radius of 1-2 km you will find everything you need! For arrivals/departures and trips to other locations - the place is very accessible by public transportation, Ubers and taxis. We accommodate early arrivals and late departures as much as possible . If guests are arriving very early or very late, don't know their arrival time, or if our manager is unavailable a self-check-in will be set up for everyone's convenience. Upon request guests have an option to have their laundry done by our housekeeper at 100 pesos/load. (Guests may not use the laundry area themselves.) For guests staying longer than 1 week, a weekly cleaning is provided (free of cost). We appreciate it if our guests regularly (at least every 3 days or so) empty their garbage into the large bins located in the patio. We don't have compost, but we do recycle! Our housekeeper can empty your garbage for you, upon request!
