Large, secure, attractively priced and fully equipped apartment in down town Petersburg. Walking distance to everything. This is a 1918 Vintage building with steep stairs, small rooms, wood plank floors and plaster walls. It has not been remodeled. If you want new and shiny, there is a hotel a block away. You'll have 1/4 the room, 1/3 the bed space, no kitchen, no laundry, limited TV programming and you'll pay about 70% more, but it will be new and shiny. The space The photos are recent and representative, so please look carefully now rather than trashing us with a bad review later. The building is next door to a bar so on weekends you'll likely hear it. Bar patrons have to go outside to smoke these days so if you open windows you'll likely smell it. There is no smoking allowed in the apartment but we can't control what people do on the street outside so if you're extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke I recommend the expensive hotel down the street. We work hard to keep the apartment clean after each guest and we'll do the same for you. It won't be any newer no matter how hard we scrub, so please don't check in with unreasonable expectations.
