Escondido Creek runs through the property year-round, creating a rare creekside sanctuary surrounded by riparian forest, coast live oaks, western sycamores, lemonade berry sumac, birds, wildlife, and open sky. Wake up to birdsong, sip coffee under the trees, listen to the creek, read, unwind, or end the evening stargazing in a peaceful canyon setting. Guests may see or hear owls, red-shouldered hawks, deer, raccoons, coyotes, bobcats, gray foxes, wild turkeys, and countless local birds. Harmony Grove sits within the Escondido Creek watershed and the broader San Elijo Canyon landscape, where creek, canyon, riparian forest, oak woodland, wildlife, and local geology come together. The area is part of the traditional homeland of the Kumeyaay people, called the Diegueño by the Spanish, and more specifically associated with the Ipai / Iipay Kumeyaay people. The canyon also lies along an old inland travel corridor historically associated with stagecoach travel through North County. This property is best for guests who appreciate quiet, beauty, nature, history, design, and a sense of place. Because of the creek, natural terrain, treehouse, tire swing, skate ramp, wildlife, and valuable breakable items, it is not especially kid-friendly. Guest access Full property, 3 acres except the main house. Other things to note StarLink WiFi, heat, AC, EV charger
