Casa Shekina means the presence of God. It is a beautiful property located in Río Dulce Izabal in front of the emblematic San Felipe de Lara Castle. It is a space designed to enjoy with family or friends, it has a private swimming pool with an infinite outdoor edge, access to the property only by boat, from the Rio Dulce Bridge it is 7 minutes. Sleeps 16 (including children). The property is rented in its entirety. The space Casa Shekina has several environments for you to enjoy and relax Outside we have: • Dock with hammocks, tables and slide • Private outdoor infinity edge pool • Shaded lounging area with chairs • Table to enjoy rich dishes • Outdoor shower • Churrasquera (charcoal not included) The ground floor has: • Living room with cable TV and A/C • 1 Half bathroom • Game room (table tennis and billiards) • Dining room for 12 people with A/C • Breakfast room for 6 people • Fully equipped kitchen, including: o Gas stove o Refrigerator o Microwave o Medium freezer o Blender o Coffee maker o Dishes o Cups o Cutlery o Pressure cooker o Pots o Pans o Airtight o Cutting board o Wine glasses o Picheles o Dish Drainer o Dish soap o 4 Pure water jugs full lifeguards We have 2 Bungalow rooms: • Bungalow #1 " Manatee " with A/C or 2 king size beds or 4 Imperial beds or 2 full baths o Capacity for 8 people • Bugalow #2 " El Castillo " with A/C or 2 Queen size beds or 4 Imperial beds or 2 full baths o Capacity for 8 people * Total capacity of the bungalows is for 16 people. *When making an enquiry or booking immediately, please tell us the detailed number of adults, children and children under 5 years of age who will arrive. No more guests are accepted than indicated at the time of booking, due to non-compliance with the rules, the reservation will be canceled. * In the rooms we have USB type chargers to facilitate the charging of your electronic devices. (2nd level not available to tenants) Check-in: 1:00 PM Check-out: 12:00 pm Check In Day Sunday: 4:00 pm Check Out (if check-in was Sunday): 3:00 PM Guest access Access to Shekina House is by boat only. The house does not have parking inside the property. You have to park in a private parking lot below the Rio Dulce bridge and we take care of the transfer of the parking lot to Casa Shekina (includes 1 round trip boat transfer) we include in the reservation the cost of 2 parking lots. When making the reservation we will provide you with the address of the car park. If you wish to park for more vehicles you must contact the private car park to reserve them in advance. Other things to note Inside the property lives the guardian Byron is a very friendly and helpful person who will welcome you and show you the house. We have a cleaning lady (no kitchen) who will take care of having the house clean and tidy for you to come to Casa Shekina to rest. The cleaning lady's hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. * Guardian tip and cleaning lady is not included, amount is at guests discretion. If you want to go to the village or to a restaurant the boat transfer is not included, the price of the boat trips is Q100 each. For your convenience we have a trusted person who can take you to different tourist places for an additional cost and the prices are directly with the person in charge. We have at your service the rental of 3 jet skis and kayak Prices: • Jet Ski: Q600 per hour (each) • Kayak: Q100 for 2 hours *2 people per motorcycle with life jacket *2 people in kayak with life jacket We recommend bringing your food before arriving at Casa Shekina, bringing ice, charcoal, insect repellant and toiletries. The entry of any type of PET to the property is forbidden. Visits to the property are not allowed. There are surveillance cameras on the property that focus on common areas for your safety. In the rainy season, storms that can affect the electrical fluid are frequent. Reservations from Monday to Thursday minimum stay one night and weekend minimum stay two nights (Friday to Sunday/Saturday to Monday).
