Kay Getaway is cozy and quiet. It is a newly renovated basement apartment with well equipped kitchen, located in the quiet desirable Kay/Bellevue neighborhood. An easy walk to downtown Newport and waterfront, restaurants on Thames and Broadway, Easton's beach, mansions, grocery store and museums. It is suited for guests who want to explore Newport , attend weddings, events, walk the city, cliff walk/beaches. One off street parking spot on site, free on street parking, The space Enter thru a separate entrance and enjoy a comfortable queen bed and futon couch and the well equipped eat in kitchen. Full bath with shower and tub. It has a key less entry. The kitchen and bedroom get sunlight and the living area a bit darker, but we have plenty of lights. We have a Roku TV, and WIFI. We are the owners of the 1836 historic home and live upstairs but are quiet. We are readily available for any questions or concerns. Guest access There is a small corner area between the outside the apartment entrance and garden with 2 chairs and a table to enjoy your morning coffee or tea, or an evening cocktail and snack. There is a wood fire pit on the premise for use, 2 kayaks with paddles and life vests for your use at your own risk. Other things to note The location is ideal to walking most any where in Newport proper. We are 5-10 minute walk to Broadway area with many funky restaurants, Washington square, JP movie theater and churches. The Touro Synagogue, and 10-15 minute walk to grocery store, tennis hall of fame, CVS, coffee shop, mansions, Easton's Beach and the Cliff Walk.
