Our bright and breezy 4 bedroom/3 bathroom family home with private laneway access boasts inspiring 360-degree mountain views in the Sea-to-Sky corridor. Recently painted and with a stunning new rear deck, it’s a beautiful detached home just 30 mins from Whistler and 45 mins from Vancouver. Located in Brackendale (north Squamish), world eagle capital, and near restaurants, amenities, coffee and bike shops, biking/hiking trails and river walks. Perfect for families, hikers, bikers, and artisans. The space We hope to welcome you to our beautiful home, whether traveling internationally or locally. The perfect getaway from the big city, our house is a wilderness retreat, set amongst the mountain community of Brackendale, yet close enough to all amenities and Highway 99. Offering a large open-plan kitchen and dining room with country table and chairs, double doors open out to the backyard for great BBQ action on a brand new deck complete with hot tub. The kitchen is stocked with a Breville espresso machine, blender, toaster, microwave, and all the usual kitchen necessities and cooking basics. Generous seating in the living room with two sofas and a leather armchair, plus gorgeous river rock gas fireplace and 55-inch Smart TV with cable access, including Optik, Netflix, Disney, Apple and Amazon. Impressive master bedroom with vaulted ceilings, king-size bed, walk-in closet, and a bright and airy ensuite, while the huge second bedroom has been recently renovated into a parents' retreat with incredible ensuite, a dedicated working space, uninterrupted front, side and rear views of the local mountains, king-size bed, large corner lounge/double sofa bed and Smart TV, plus complete privacy. Ample-sized third and fourth bedrooms, including large bunk beds (bunk beds each have two single mattresses - upper mattress is not suitable for adults, but the large lower mattress is). All of the bedrooms have ceiling fans. Lots of outdoor space, with an expansive covered verandah in both the front and rear of the house, and a fully-fenced, gated, and grassed level backyard (with new outdoor furniture, BBQ, plus fire pit and lounger in the lower seating area, and abundant mountain views). You'll also find a Jacuzzi 8-seater hot tub carefully balanced for your soaking needs. There is also a gorgeous gas fire surrounded by large sofa. Plus we recently installed a divine 10-person cedar barrel sauna to one side of the house in its own idyllic setting. During summer, there is also a 16-foot swimming pool in one corner of the garden (please use at your own risk). Parking on the driveway, accessed by a private lane, plus an additional parking space on the lane itself, full internal laundry with steam washer and dryer, and room for storing boots/ski gear, and for hanging coats and wet weather gear. This is a non-smoking property (this includes no vaping). Please note that this house is located in a family community. While our space can accommodate larger groups, we ask that all groups be respectful of the local community. Guest access You have the entire house to yourself. Main level and upper level of the house are fully accessible to guests, and house access is via front and back entrances. The garage/office is typically off limits to guests, as we use this for storage. Other things to note Please help yourself to condiments and pantry basics. Tea and coffee are provided. We also guarantee that you will fall in love with, aside from our lovely home, the epic views of the mountains from every window of the house. Local's tip: try the coffee shop opposite the house. The coffee is outstanding and the atmosphere is warm, friendly, and cozy. There may be a gardener accessing the property to mow the lawns in the warmer months. They will only ever access the front and rear yards, and will be mindful of your privacy. During winter, we do get the occasional snowfall. If you can clear the snow from the front/rear steps, driveway and front sidewalk, we'd be grateful, and we will leave salt and shovels for your use. A hot tub specialist will also come out once a week to balance the Jacuzzi hot tub chemicals but won't require access to the house.
