St Joseph Home in Historic Neighborhood

This home was built in 1907 and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. This home is in a historic area in close proximity to Frontier Casino, walking trails, and freeway access. Minutes from historic downtown St Joseph, museums, and other attractions. I-229 highway is quite close, allowing you to easily navigate to businesses such as Mosaic Medical Center, Altec, or MO Western State Univerisity. The space *Covid-19 note- additional steps to clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces between reservations are done in an effort to prevent health concerns. This home is an older home in one of the oldest neighborhoods. The house has a bit of an industrial feel, but it is cozy and comfortable. The airbnb space features a private entrance. The room offers ambiance from the electric fireplace. The room also has a tv, DVD player, and a Wii. Guests have the convenience of a microwave, fridge, and 2 burner hot-plate. I provide coffee, tea, and some bottled water as well as breakfast bars. Clean sheets, towels and some cleaning supplies are included in the room. A mirror and hair dryer are in the room. I am happy to live here and I invite you to come stay in a house built on land once owned by Joseph Robideux, founder of Saint Joseph. Guest access The guest has the use of the bedroom, which has a small fridge, microwave, 2 burner electric hotplate. Guests also have the use of the large shared bathroom, includes toilet, shower, jet tub. The vanity cabinet will provide 1 drawer for your personal items in the bathroom. The sink in the bathroom is a good water source. The door from the guest room leads directly to the backyard covered patio, which is available for guest use. There are a couple of adirondak chairs in back and a gazebo. Guests may also make use of the swing or pergola in the back yard. There is a grill ,as well as, a chimnea for evening fires and S'mores. During your stay I will be available to assist wherever needed. Depending on situation, guests may be invited to join activities happening either outside or inside. Other things to note You can have the option to have 1 King size bed or the single size trundle, which has a second twin that slides underneath.
