Imagine you’re sitting on a veranda, overlooking the turquoise colors of the Caribbean Sea, and suddenly realizing that you’ve woken up in paradise. 6.5 miles north of the bridge to town, this gorgeous fully equipped villa is recommended for couples who want a tranquil tropical escape, or small families wanting to enjoy all the Caribbean has to offer with the comforts of home. Lounge by your beachfront private pool for the day or take a leisurely barefoot stroll along the beach. Spend an afternoon under the palapa at the end of the pier, enjoying the sea breeze. The villa is on the edge of Mexico Rocks Marine Reserve, a short distance from the Belize Barrier Reef, so you’ll spot tropical fish as they glide below. The spacious, fully air-conditioned, 3,200 sq. feet villa is spread over two floors, each with separate entrances. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, open plan dining/living areas, a 55” flat-screen TV with over 100 channels, and a fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs there’s 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, and a sitting area with a TV and bar fridge. The villa has Wi-Fi, inside and out with a 40Mb fiber-optic connection. Housekeeping can be arranged in advance and you simply pay the caretaker directly for that service. Request fresh linens at any time. We provide a generous supply of bath/beach towels. Speaking of the caretaker, we’re lucky to have Adam on our staff; if you’ve read the reviews for Anil Mar, you’ll have seen how much he makes our guests feel like family. Adam lives in a house behind the main house if you need him, otherwise he will leave you to your privacy. If you want to explore mainland Belize, choose from exciting adventure activities like zip-lining and cave tubing. Visit any of a number of breathtaking Ancient Maya archaeological sites or go to the Belize Zoo, where you can get up close with some of Belize’s most endangered species. If you want to spend some time on the water, we provide three kayaks to guests. Or you can chill out on a sunset cruise, island-hop on a sailboat, or kitesurf. For divers, there’s plenty of underwater fun. You can check out some of the dive sites along the reef or take a trip of a lifetime to The Blue Hole. We do suggest you set a day aside to explore on your golf cart and check out the delicious local food, art galleries and shops dotted all over the Caye. Or, if you enjoy cycling, you can have fun riding one of the 6 bicycles you’ll find for your use at the villa. We offer full concierge services. Whether you want to hire a golf cart, plan a tour, or need recommendations for someone to cook or shop for you, we take pride in our fantastic service and will arrange your transportation to and from the villa upon your arrival and departure. We recommend arranging basic provisioning for your arrival through our Mobile Guest Guide. Your kitchen has basic items such as salt/pepper, ground coffee, filters, sugar, creamer, and Marie Sharp's, Belize’s favorite hot sauce. We also provide toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and cleaning supplies. We follow CDC suggested guidelines and guarantee that there will be a 24-hour space between departures and new arrivals. Guest access All of our guests are provided with a copy of our Mobile Guest Guide that provides a wealth of information about planning for your trip, travel to Belize, getting the the island, access codes and WiFi codes. The Guide is also fully integrated with GMaps making finding local restaurants, beaches and bars a breeze. Arranging flights from the international airport, filling out your Guest Registration form (required by the Belize Tourism Board), golf cart rentals, and excursions can also be arranged through the Guide. When you arrive on the island we will meet you at your arrival point and guide you to your taxi to Anil Mar (additional fee payable to taxi). When you arrive at the home the air-conditioning and lights will all have been turned on for you. If friends and family need to reach you, they can call the cell phone we provide at no charge to you (you’ll receive the number before you arrive). Other things to note You'll want to arrange for at least the basics for food and we can recommend grocery stores that will deliver if you don't want to shop for yourself. During your stay there are many activities that you can take advantage of and we can arrange whatever you desire from snorkeling trips, diving, fly-fishing, deep-sea fishing, kite-surfing all the way up to helicopter tours and everything in between. Basic consumables are included with your rental (hand soap, toilet paper, cleaning supplies), amounts are based on the number of persons in the booking. We suggest a basic provisioning starter package or a stopping at a grocery store for additional food/supplies before heading to your villa.
