Centrally Located Craftsman Cottage

This lovely back house craftsman cottage is located in the up-and-coming and very diverse neighborhood of West Adams. The home is conveniently located only minutes away from LAX, Downtown LA, USC, UCLA, Griffith Observatory, Culver City, Beverly Hills, Fairfax, The Grove, Hollywood, Fox & Sony Studios, Universal Studios, Santa Monica & other beaches! The space This charming back house Craftsman Cottage located in the city of West Adams. The home is conveniently located only minutes away from LAX, Downtown LA, USC, Culver City, Beverly Hills, Fairfax, The Grove, Hollywood, Fox & Sony Studios, and Beaches! The I-10 Freeway is only a 3 minute drive away, and the Farmdale Expo Line Train station is just a few blocks away which takes you West to Santa Monica or East to Downtown and beyond. The cottage is a separate structure from the front house. The home has a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, with a fold out sofa in the living room for an 3rd person if needed at $15 extra per night. The bedroom has a queen size bed. The living room also has a TV with a Blue Ray DVD player, Cable TV, Apple TV and also a record player with a few of our favorite records so you can unwind and enjoy some tunes! Please note there is no active Netflix account so please login using your own, and don't forget to log out before you check out :) We also provide some of our favorite movie DVDs and a few books for your reading pleasure. Free Wifi is available. There is a spacious kitchen available with a refrigerator/freezer, stove, pots, pans, etc., for your use. The kitchen also has a microwave, small toaster oven, an Express Bialetti Espresso maker and water filter for your convenience. A dining area is in the kitchen with three stools. There is a washer and dryer on site and we provide laundry soap. The cottage has its own private back yard and in between the front house and the back house is a beautiful garden with decomposed granite and succulents galore. We also have towels, bath robes, shampoo, soaps and a hair dryer that are available for you to use. We tried to equip the cottage with everything you need :) We ask no pets stay at the cottage (however service pets are welcome). The full-time tenant who lives in the front house does have a medium size dog. You may see him once in a while :) He is very sweet and timid. Guest access The entrance to the back house cottage is through our side gate and is a separate home. The cottage is our back house and is freestanding, not connected to our home. There is a full-time tenant living in the front house. Other things to note Check-in is at 3pm. Check-out is at 11am. This may be flexible based on availability, please inquire. Parking: Regarding parking, there is street cleaning on Wednesday and Thursday 8am- 10am both mornings. Our side of the street has street cleaning on Wednesday (odd numbers of addresses) and across the street (even numbers) is Thursday. Please don't forget to move your car if necessary! You will get a $75 ticket if you park on the side of street cleaning during those hours. Also please park on the same side of traffic! If you park opposite you may also get a parking violation ticket. Also just a quick disclaimer- we live on a classic California palm tree lined house. If the wind is strong, the palm fronds have been known to fall and damage cars in the past. In the event of strong winds, please do NOT park underneath a palm tree! There are side streets with no palm trees, please park here during windy days. Please note for 3rd Guests: If you have a third guest stay at the cottage, they will most likely have to sleep on the fold out sofa located in the living room. There are extra sheets in the bedroom closet for the fold out couch. Please NO packages or mail to be sent to the property. We also have room heaters and portable A/C and/or fans if needed. Just let us know!
