Welcome to Puerto Rico! Our Casona is located on the west coast of Puerto Rico; between the towns of Aguada and Rincón. This is one of the five cozy apartments in our inn. You will enjoy with us our excellent pool area, grove, private museum and our small cocoa crop where we give the Cocoa Tour. Just minutes away you will find the best beaches and tourist attractions in the region. We want you to live like a Boricua! The space Our private apartment provides a relaxing, tropical, Caribbean atmosphere. It is located on the first level of the Casona. The apartment is decorated with a minimalist but complete touch. Always thinking that our guests have everything they need for a wonderful and comfortable stay. Our decoration is designed to make you feel like you've arrived at your tropical Caribbean home. The house where the apartment is located was built in the mid-twentieth century. It's one of the oldest wood and cement houses in our community. In the past, sugar cane was grown in its surroundings; but today we have a small cocoa crop and fruit trees. The apartment has 2 full beds, a private bathroom, air conditioning, a mini equipped kitchen, a dining room, towels, sheets, a terrace, toiletries, and free Wi-Fi. We also have a smart TV with built-in WiFi. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, sink, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, kitchenware, plates, cups, cutlery, glasses, and everything you need to prepare your own meals before or after exploring. We have an information table where you will find information and brochures about the best restaurants, beaches, waterfalls, agrotours, museums, parks and all the places to visit near us. We have a garden, a small forest and an excellent shared pool area. In front of the pool you will see an area with chairs, tables and umbrellas. You will also find the gazebo with grill and the pool shower and bathroom area. There are two additional gazebos with hammocks to enjoy the outdoors while relaxing. We have private parking on the property. Our small private forest is our best place to be in touch with nature. The small forest has more than 300 trees where you can walk the different trails that we made. You'll find signs with information about our biodiversity, you'll see hammocks throughout the forest, a campfire area, and fish ponds. The forest is perfect for bird watching, connecting with nature, and yoga. Our small cocoa crop is located inside the forest. Over 100 cocoa trees that produce the raw material to make our chocolate bars. Stay with us and enjoy paradise! Guest access We have high-speed Wi-Fi; perfect for watching Netflix, studying, or working. We provide towels, shower items, toilet paper, and garbage bags. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need more of these resources during your stay. The bathroom is fully equipped but small. It is not suitable for people with disabilities or large people. The studio has two comfortable full-size beds, a desk, luggage rack, closet, chest of drawers, nightstand, and TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils so you can cook your favorite meals. We always have coffee available for our guests in the apartment. In the courtyard, there are three comfortable gazebos, a grill, and a campfire area in our forest. We have all the equipment to make your barbecue except charcoal. You must purchase this yourself. We have a ramp for the disabled in the pool area. The pool has an area with a variety of tables and chairs. It has spaces to put your towel and take a delicious sunbath. It also has its own shower and bathroom area. The pool can be used at any time. In the room, you'll see lists of museums, parks, taxis, forests, agrotours, beaches, restaurants, and all the places to visit near us. We are in a great location between the towns of Aguada, Rincon, and Aguadilla. Therefore, we are the ideal place for surfers and adventurers who love to explore our island. The beaches of all the northwestern municipalities are equidistant from us. So driving between 6 and 15 minutes you will find very beautiful paradisiacal beaches. We also have free private parking. Don't forget to sit, have a coffee, or read a book in the gazebo of our private forest! Other things to note Experiences at Casa Azul. We have a variety of activities that you can do in coordination with us that will make your stay unique and fun. Cocoa Tour. At our house, we grow cocoa where we produce handmade chocolate. The Cocoa tour lasts one hour. Its availability will depend on the harvest season and that we are notified in advance. The schedule is coordinated directly with you during your stay. Cost: $20 per person. Learn about the history, cultivation, and processing of cocoa, and taste our handmade chocolate. Visit our private museum. I am a certified tour guide and historian, and as part of our offer we have a visit to our private museum. The visit lasts 35 minutes and includes a tour of 5 rooms of antiques, art, and carvings that tell the story of the towns of western Puerto Rico. Cost: $5 per person. Tour of Aguada. The tour lasts 2 hours. We explore some of the iconic places of Aguada Town as we stroll through the historic center. Cost: $25 per person. Casa Azul Rules. Each space has a maximum number of guests. Additional guests who are not notified will be charged an additional $25 per person per night. Smoking is not allowed inside the house or in the rooms. We have a for smokers outside. Smoking inside the house will result in a $100 cleaning fee to remove the odor. No pets allowed on the property, except for service animals. If you bring pets, a $35 pet fee will apply. We have a water tank and electric generator in the house for your comfort. The pool can be used at any time. Please do not eat or drink in the pool. Do not run or dive in the pool. In the pool area there is an outdoor shower that can be used to wash off sand if you come from the beach. Check-in will always be at 4:00 PM. If you need to arrive earlier, you must notify us in advance and it will be subject to the availability of your space. Late check-out. Check-out is at 12:00 noon or earlier. Late check-out must be notified in advance and is subject to space availability. An additional fee of $15 will be charged for each additional hour after 12:00 noon. The house is exclusively for guests. No outsiders or visitors other than Casa Azul guests or employees are allowed inside Casa Azul premises. Loud noises, screams, and loud music are prohibited at night. This is for the benefit of all guests and the community. If you're going to use our fire pit area or use the grill, remember to turn it off after use and throw the ashes in the nearest trash can. Guests must buy charcoal. Only Casa Azul guests can use the pool area. Our staff is always ready to help.
