Vacation? Business? Short term work/classes? Transitioning? 10 minutes to UBCO and airport. Private bedroom & bath in our home in a quiet residential area. A 7 minute walk to the # 8 bus to UBCO and Okanagan College and a 2 minute walk to the #10 to downtown. We can help with recommendations for golf, wineries, places to see & restaurants or relax outside in our gardens. Marilyn is a certified ESL teacher too! Please note: due to health concerns in our family, guests must be fully vaccinated. The space We hosted guests at our other home for almost 4 years, with great reviews and then sold the house! We are starting all over again in our new home to host great guests like you! On the main floor of our rancher (bungalow) we have a private, bright, south-east facing, furnished bedroom with newer Queen Size bed, desk, dresser, and a private bath in an area separate from our master bedroom. Includes linen, towels, Telus Wireless high speed internet, WiFi, central air conditioning, driveway parking. Access to kitchen, dining room/living room. Laundry available . You'll have your own code to the door so you can come and go as you wish! We offer breakfast between 7 and 9 am and will do our best to make arrangements if you're up extra early or extra late. We offer gluten free/vegan and regular breads and cereal, dairy and non-dairy milk, coffee, tea, Kelowna's own Sunrype apple juice, orange juice, peanut butter, almond butter and home made jams. We can pick you up and return you to the airport and take you to Big White or Myra Canyon. Cash services (transport) * $25 single trip/$45 return trip - Airport to or from. * $75 return trip to Big White resort from my house. * $50 return trip to Myra Canyon. Please let us know when you book the room if you require this service. Lunch and dinner (gluten-free, vegetarian, special diet, or regular meals) can be negotiated at a separate price. We will provide room in our fridge for your food. We are an adult household and not child-proof. We have a quiet, gentle 12year old black lab/great Dane named Mr. Liam who loves people. We are a quiet, work-from-home couple and are looking for a quiet, non smoking, non-partying guests. If you feel we're a good fit, please contact me!
