Wild Wood Cabins: Trapper’s Haven

This old trapper’s cabin is a simple treasure to discover. Built in a simple, rustic design many years ago, the cabin holds three small bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open concept living/dining area and also a beautiful screened in porch. Guests who love the outdoors will love the forest setting, the hot tub, the gardens, horseshoe pits and campfire area. Be ready for a cozy and enjoyable stay in a charming corner of our property. This cabin is one of the eight Wild Wood Cabins available. The space The entire cabin and immediate yards are available for guests to use. The cabin is fully equipped for guests to cook meals, sleep well and bathe. Guests will feel close to the wilderness here. The yard is very large and is great for family and friends to run and play. There are horseshoe pits, campfire areas, and much lawn space (so bring some lawn games). A private hot tub is available just for Trapper's Haven guests. The host family lives close enough you may hear them from a distance, but not see them unless they drive by. Trails on the property are private and in development stage, so be sure to plan your hikes, skiing and biking around the amazing public spaces Golden hosts. Guest access Guests can use the full cabin and surrounding yard areas. Please be aware of private areas where guests cannot access, such as the sheds, greenhouse, and root cellar. Do not walk in the forest trails as they are not for public access. Other things to note This cabin is located on a mountain road. Please be advised that in winter months a 4x4 vehicle is recommended, although most skilled winter drivers with any vehicle (with winter tires) should have no issues.
