Our guest cottage is close to downtown New Paltz, Rosendale, the Shawangunk Mountains, Minnewaska state park, and right on the Wallkill River. The Cottage is charming, tranquil, petite, and yet just a short drive from the goings on in town. Rest and relax in pure tranquility, get a taste for life along the Wallkill, or some combination of the two. The Cottage is next to our other rental, The Farmhouse. It's ideal for couples and suitable for small families. We are pet friendly! The space The Cottage is located on two beautiful acres overlooking a pond and the Walkill river. Cottage guests share some outdoor spaces with the Farmhouse guests next door, but there is a picnic table and benches reserved for the cottage and plenty of great spots to sit and contemplate nature on the grounds. Prepare to see all sorts of stunning wildlife ! Other things to note Please note that there is one sleeping loft with queen bed on a platform and one futon that doubles as a bed/couch. There is no separate bedroom aside from the sleeping loft! The loft is up a somewhat steep set of steps so please be aware of that when booking :)
