Enjoy View Top Farm House, a rustic, 100+ yr old, farmhouse/former boarding house on 3 beautiful acres, overlooking the Catskill mountains. Enjoy time on the patio by the fire, barbecuing, eating alfresco or swinging in the hammock. Its 15 min to the Rondout, 7 min to the Village of Saugerties. Get breakfast, lunch or dinner out, or cook at home in the large, well stocked kitchen. Minutes from restaurants, antique stores, hiking, and biking. Enjoy many amenities. Well behaved pets are welcome. The space Guests are welcome to use all spaces except those that are locked or marked “Private”. Guest access Guests can access the entire home except one room upstairs, the attic and the cellar. The garage and barns which hold maintenance equipment and personal items, will also be inaccessible to guests. Guests can use the entire 3 acres, which reaches from the road all the way back to the tree line, and includes about half of the fields the house overlooks. We just ask that you respect our neighbors properties by not venturing past our borders. Other things to note IMPORTANT: -Use of the living room fireplace is NOT PERMITTED AS IT COULD BE A FIRE HAZARD. But I have placed an electric heater with “flames” in front of the fireplace, which makes a very nice, warming substitute. -If you have an outdoor fire, please extinguish it before you return indoors. -The gate to the pool will be locked, but please ensure that any children stay away from the pool deck unless they are supervised. -We are located on NYS Route 32, so supervision of small children and pets is required any time they are outside the house. The property is not enclosed with a secure fence. There is a very large yard in the back for them to run, play and explore.
