"Czech Mate", Steps From Sound & Gulf, Kayaks Included, Private Beach, West End

*We are now offering the use of our 2 kayaks year round for our renters during their stay. Enjoy watching the dolphins from the "Czech Mate", that has a private beach to the Mississippi Sound/Bay side! Our home is just a short walking distance to West End Beach. Enjoy picturesque views of the water (Gulf & Sound) from every window! This beautiful home has granite counter tops, tile flooring, crown molding, & an open floor plan. Relax on the back porch watching the wildlife & boats on the beautiful Bay side or from the front of the house by watching & hearing the Gulf of Mexico waves. Only steps to the beach of the Sound & to the Gulf. You can kayak in the Sound right behind the house. A bike path goes from the West End through town. You can bring your own bikes or rent one up the road. There are 4 bedrooms, sleeps 8 (3 queen beds, 2 twin beds, & 2 roll away cots). 2 bathrooms with the master bath having a walk-in & shower. Linens & towels are provided. The house has fiber internet. Pet friendly (limit of 2 dogs & non-refundable). Pet fee is $75 per dog if 2 dogs. $100 for one dog. No smoking is allowed. There are 5 tv's (1 in each bedroom & 1 in the great room with a DVD player). The t.v. in the great room is a smart t.v.. The dining table seats 6 & there are 4 bar stools at the breakfast bar. Amenities include: Outdoor shower, internet, dishes, utensils, electric griddle, crock pot, dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, stainless steel refrigerator, coffee maker, washer/dryer, toaster, board games, books, dvd's, & charcoal grill under the house. The Mississippi Sound/Bay side has great fishing, & dolphins are often sighted from both the Gulf & the Sound. You can kick back & relax in the porch swing or rope swing under the house. To access the Gulf beach, just walk a few steps across the road & you can set up a canopy tent, chairs, etc. This is free to do. For the Mississippi Sound/Bay side beach, just walk down the back steps of the house & you have your own private beach up to the Sound. West End Beach is also close to the house. Please have your dogs on a flea & tick prevention medicine. Just for your information, the Town of Dauphin Island requires all dogs to be on a leash and properly secured when outdoors and also requires that dog waste from rental property yard, beaches and public areas be picked up and properly disposed of.
