There are no visible neighboring houses, only the forest, cliffs, and shoreline seen from the house. All 30 acres are reserved for the rental and not shared by anyone else. Whiting Bay Beach allows canoe and kayak access with water trails across the bay to Cobscook State Park and Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge. Additionally, there are Downeast Conservation lands and islands at the end of the road to explore.
