Guest passes upon request, for 1 of 2 golf courses, as well as the tennis club. Golf cart available for rent by owner, at add'l cost. Owner is Canadian but can be accessed via Airbnb, text or email. Villa is on the beach, with the best & safest swimming in Palmas. Within 5-10 min. golf cart ride to Palma Nova & the Marina restaurants, as well as many other coffee houses & pub-style or specialty restaurants. Close to everything.. Walmart, Marshalls, JC Penney, pharmacies, lots of restaurants & other activities (wave runners, scuba-diving, fishing excursions, hiking trails, etc.), which are indicated in the informational booklet left in the unit, or easily found in the "SeePalmas" app. Parking is included with rental. Golf cart can be rented & used to more easily get around the Palmas grounds. Palmas is just a 45-min car ride from airport. CLEANLINESS IS OUR PRIORITY. We want you to be comfortable visiting our place, so here are a few highlights of our upgraded cleaning process, because WE ARE AS CONCERNED AS YOU ARE about keeping our space clean: • We sanitize high-touch surfaces, right down to the doorknobs • We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies • Cleaning staff wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination • We refer to a cleaning checklist to thoroughly clean each room • We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay • We comply with local laws, and any add'l safety or cleaning guidelines We’ve heard from guests that they want the ability to clean during their stay. WE'RE LISTENING. We have left you some cleaning supplies, to take the worry out of your stay, including: • Disposable papertowel • Multi-surface cleaner • Disinfectant wipes or spray • Antibacterial hand sanitizer • Extra hand soap There is a queen-size inflatable mattress & extra sheets also available, for unexpected guests, so unit can actually sleep 8, if necessary. Guests are provided with about 2 weeks worth of soap, shampoo/conditioner, laundry soap & dryer sheets, plus enough coffee & sugar for 3 days. Any other items can be purchased online & delivered to your door, via the “econo to go” or “Ralph’s online” app. Unit comes with bath & hand towels, bed linens, 8 beach towels & an ironing station. Electricity is sometimes an issue on the island. On the rare occasion that the electricity cuts off, our unit is equipped with a power back up for the fridge, as well as a back up battery in the bedroom, for C-Pap machines, cell phone & computer charging.
