Man Cave is on our famous 600 acre Kilcher Homestead of Alaska the Last Frontier TV show fame! Experience solitude spiked with adventure. 8x8 cedar cabin w deck, with comfy mattress and 100% cotton sheets. A perfect hideaway on the bluffs of Kachemak Bay on my 5 acre Miracle Meadow. Women welcome to the Man Cave! Off grid, outhouse, private outdoor hot shower and outhouse, shared outdoor covered kitchen. Hammocks. Firepit. Pond. Beach access. Please read the full description. FYI our Sales Tax goes to our schools...Thank you from our kids! 12 miles east of Homer on Kilcher Road. As you can see from the photos, this is a piece of Heaven on Earth. This 8x 8 foot Man Cave with twin bed is for women to enjoy too! Additional guests can stay with a BYO tent. No one is around (except for us) for a mile to any side; our 600 acre homestead is bordered by a 500 foot Canyon, and my house site of 5 acres is right on the bluff overlooking Kachemak Bay with mountains and glaciers on the other side. We offer: hot outdoor shower, your private outhouse, and clean 100% cotton bedding and towels provided, plus a heater! The outdoor camp kitchen offers barbecue, hotplate, pure drinking water, spices and oils to complement your own cooking. NOTE: The bed is a extra large Twin size, so best suitable for a single person, although a BYO tent could be set up on the large decking or lawn if necessary for extra guests. Here are my other listings all on my Kilcher Homestead property called "Miracle Meadow": The Lighthouse - 12x12 space with heat option Digit Detox Retreat - in the "Lighthouse" with full retreat private personalized schedule: meals, cooking class, Ayurvedic consult, yoga, etc Glamping 8x8 tent You have access to our friendly hearts, to miles of hikes, access to some of the most spectacular views you'll have ever seen, and outdoor full kitchen – with barbecue and hot plate,. You're welcome to use our spices and oils to complement provisions that you bring to cook for yourself. Also outdoor hot shower and outhouse with awesome views! You also have access to campfire, pond, and maybe a croquet set! Endless walks on beach, private tours of Kilcher homestead, meet the Kilchers, meet Nature. We are off grid so no electricity, so no wifi. That's in town! Or up at our Homestead cabin. We interact with guests as little or much as they want, because we live here in my yurt. So depending on what projects we are working on, they would see us more or less. We are happy to answer all questions and be great hosts, a resource and friend. The "neighborhood" consists of eagles, porcupine, occasional moose, and other critters. Occasionally you'll run into a human being here and there! The Kilcher beach is a short 15 minute walk where you can stroll for miles in solitude trolling for shells and rocks and views. You'll also maybe run into the cast of Alaska the Last Frontier, which is my family... You'll also have great adventures in the town of Homer: fishing excursions, wildlife center, the Spit with boardwalk cafes and shops, etc Guidebook: https://www.airbnb.com/manage-guidebook/2057907 You'll need to rent a car, preferably 4 wheel drive, so your adventurous spirit can let loose! We are about 35 minutes from the town of Homer. Drive in nearby, with ATV access we provide for your belongings. Weather dependent, it’s either a 5-20 minute walk to your car, or use our ATV! If you don't have a car, a taxi can bring you for about $40 from the airport or from Homer. Conceivably you could just fly into Homer and not rent a car; just take a cab for groceries, then to here and stay immersed in beauty for days and days! I hardly ever want to go do anything else because this spot has it all! This is our commonly owned 600 acre Kilcher Homestead, as seen on the hit reality TV show Alaska the Last Frontier. I have 5 acres which I share with select guests such as you: I don't accept just "anyone" into my meadow which I aptly named "Miracle Meadow". The purity of Nature in this spot is transformative. And because I only have two guest houses, you have your own quiet retreat experience, while able to venture into the "huge" town of Homer (pop 4000!) to dine gourmet, explore the famous Homer Spit, hike across the Bay and much more to entertain yourself. Come experience this little piece of Heaven on Earth! If you have ever liked camping because it puts you in touch with Nature - come here and be comfy while you bathe in Nature's blessings! No need for hardship: comfy mattress is provided, hot outdoor shower, full outdoor kitchen AND no mosquito issues here! Also a chance for you to unplug and get off your devices!
