PLEASE READ 💕 Sweet Lil Blue is a modest, cute, cosy basement apartment. The home is 100+ years old, so expect nice creaks and quirks! It offers clean linens, towels, toiletries, plus coffee, tea, and basics for your stay. Ceilings are ~7ft — fair warning for tall guests! On the cusp of East End and Downtown, it’s walkable to major amenities, trails, and 9 mins to the airport. I'm nearby, responsive, and happy to help with anything you need. Feel free to reach out now anytime during your stay. The space Sweet Lil Blue is a cosy, older basement apartment with plenty of character and as your host, your comfort is truly my priority. If anything isn’t quite right or you notice an issue during your stay, please reach out to me right away. I’m always happy to fix things promptly so you can enjoy your visit, and I much prefer to help in the moment rather than hear about concerns afterward. My goal is to make your time here smooth, welcoming, and worry-free. This apartment is steps away from bus stops and is walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, cafes and even a bowling alley. Only a 10 minute walk to beautiful Quidi Vidi Lake and Rennie’s River walking trail and 20 minutes from the East end of Duckworth Street. It’s also only a 9 minute drive to the airport! The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs with basic condiments in the fridge, coffee and tea etc. There is no cable but the tv does have Netflix as well there is a collection of dvd's in the cupboard in the front bedroom. You will also find local art, literature and other novels scattered around the place. You will find fresh towels and face cloths in the bathroom (if you would like more please ask). Shampoo, conditioner and body wash and other basic toiletries can be found in the shower and under the sink. The Rooms are basic but cozy. The beds are made with fresh clean linens. Feel free to use the dressers for those of you who like to really feel at home. Because of its age and location, it can feel a bit humid during the summertime. To keep the space as comfortable as possible, a dehumidifier is provided and should be run throughout your stay, most guests find it makes a big difference. { I try to make the description as accurate as possible, I am always open to any suggestions and constructive criticism. Thank you 💖 } Guest access The laundry room is shared with the upstairs and access is through the back door of the upstairs which is found in the backyard. Use of the backyard is also encouraged :) Other things to note I highly recommend taking a stroll down to Quidi Vidi Lake or Signal Hill and walking the trails. 'The Gut' down on the opposite end of the Lake is a quaint little fishing village that has many interesting places to eat, drink and shop local crafts all while you take in the magical views and the crisp ocean air.
