Perched high on Ajax Peak, Nyabinghi Cottage is a peaceful retreat overlooking Coral Bay, St. John and the British Virgin Islands. The standalone cottage features breathtaking views, convenience to Coral Bay, Cruz Bay, and nearby beaches, and all of the amenities to ensure a relaxing getaway. Requested bookings within 48 hours must be approved before finalized The space Nya boasts one bedroom with a Queen bed, complete with sunrise and water views. The large sliding door allows the tradewinds breezes to cool the room throughout the day. At night, turn on the air conditioning unit to recuperate from the St. John sun and fall asleep to the sounds of the nearby tree frogs. The full bathroom offers a completely private outdoor shower with the perfect view out to the bay. Nya also features a small kitchenette with a coffee maker, toaster, blender, microwave, two burner hot plate, and compact fridge with freezer. The two outdoor spaces are the highlight of this mountainside retreat. The first, which is located through the bedroom sliding doors, is the perfect spot to drink coffee in the morning and watch the boats sail in and out of the harbor. The other outdoor space is accessible via the unique spiral staircase outside the main entry door. At the top, the 360 degree view will leave you in awe. The lounge chairs invite you to sunbathe or stargaze. Nyabinghi also provides guests with a variety of beach gear, including: beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach towels, and cooler with ice packs. We recommend renting snorkel gear and fins from either Beach Bum in Cruz Bay or Crabby's Watersports in Coral Bay. Guest access You have full access to all indoor and outdoor spaces of Nya. Other things to note You will want to get some bottled water for your stay. The water is perfectly fine for cooking and brushing teeth, but we recommend bottled water for drinking.
