Stay close to all the excitement the city has to offer but rest your head in the peaceful and highly sought after neighborhood of Mayfield in North East Baltimore City. Your apartment has a separate, private entrance, a pillow-topped queen sized mattress, plus a couch that converts to a full bed, fully stocked kitchen/bar, private bathroom with walk in shower. Ample street parking. Roku smart TV, Zeke's coffee, tea, snacks, and more. There is a tidy arts and entertainment area where you can enjoy the use of a record player and listen to a curated sampling of music from around the world. The player is also a bluetooth speaker so you can connect your devices and listen to your own collection. Your host is an art therapist so please enjoy the sampling of humorous and detailed coloring books and art materials. There is also an assortment of games. To top it off, enjoy creating your own essential oil blend and use of a diffuser. We also supply organic shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, a tapping neck and shoulder massager, and plenty of books throughout the apartment. We want your stay to be a time for you to treat yourself with care. The neighborhood is a lovely place to take a walk. Lake Montebello and Herring Run Park are a stone's throw away. There is a playground one block away. The entire basement apartment is yours with the exception of two locked storage areas. The outdoor fenced in area around your separate entrance is for you to enjoy as well. We live upstairs with our 2 boys. We will not bother you at all unless you need us or if we need to access the circuit breaker. Mayfield is just 15 minutes from the Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Canton, and Baltimore’s art and theater districts in Mt. Vernon. Mayfield is on the National Register of Historic Places. It's beautiful tree-lined streets and unique mix of architecture make it an attractive home for many diverse residents and young families. It is close to churches, shopping centers, tourist attractions, hospitals, and schools. Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins University, Morgan State, MICA and Loyola. Mayfield is bordered by Clifton Park and golf course, Herring Run Park and Lake Montebello. The area is perfect for runners, walkers and cyclists. Main access roads to Mayfield are Harford Road, Belair Road and Erdman Avenue. Mayfield is accessible by car and bus. Currently they are constructing a new bridge on Harford road between Chesterfield and Parkside Drive and so that section of Harford Rd. is closed. No parties allowed. No glitter or confetti. In the case that you need an extra bed, you will find linens in the storage area of the couch to make it into a full bed . Please do not sleep on the couch without making it first. We provide a starter set of paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, and napkins) that is enough to last for several days. Although there is sound proofing, I have two very active boys living upstairs. At times, you may hear us above you. I do hope to minimize any distractions.
