The bunk bedroom has a separate bathroom. Each bedroom is delightfully appointed with romantic beds, lavish linens and amenities. The master suite features a Jacuzzi bath. There is also a generator in case of power outages. Ocho Palmas offers guests an open plan design with a spacious gourmet kitchen and large center island, comfortable living room and bar. The home is furnished with handcrafted Honduran hardwood furniture. The veranda offers guests a dining table for eight, comfortable lounge chairs and a gas BBQ grill overlooking the 15` x 12` swimming pool and a wonderful deck area. Relax on the expansive veranda under the shade of wild palms and cooling trade winds or soak up some sun on the pool side deck. Dine with family and friends outdoors or escape to an afternoon siesta at the pool side cabana. This home is walking distance from Roatan’s breathtaking West Bay Beach, but a vehicle is recommended. Ocho Palmas is a fantastic home for those looking to enjoy one of the world`s top ten beaches yet offers the peace and serenity of a private home with an infinity pool. Facing east, sunrise from the veranda is a daily marvel, stroll 100 yards from the house and enjoy the sunset from the secluded shores of the stunning private beach at the Lighthouse Point. Guests have access to the private pool and the various loungers and toys on the deck. A short walk away is a semi-private beach guests may use also. Ocho Palmas is managed by Island House Vacation Rentals. The office is a 15-minute walk from the home, and guests are also provided with phone numbers to our office staff in case of emergency. We check all of our guests in at the office so they know where it is. Guests are required to sign our Island House Terms and conditions at check in and a $1000 security deposit is held on credit card. Lighthouse Estates is located on the South Shore of West Bay. It is a perfect location for those seeking the activities and vibrant mix of the restaurants and bars available at West Bay Beach (just a 15 - 20 minute walk away. The Lighthouse Estates area is quiet and secluded because it is at the very tip of Roatan and there is not a lot of public traffic. We are happy to arrange your airport transfer to West Bay if you wish. While it is possible to walk from Lighthouse Estates to West Bay Beach, many of our guests rent a vehicle for their time here. We can help guests arrange this as well. There is a house phone included in the rental, so taxi service is also just a phone call away. Accidental Damage Protection is covered through the "linen fee" of $49 Maid service is included twice a week. Airport transfers are included in the price.
