Welcome to the Moose Cabin! This adorable little log structure stands at 12x12 ft, a quaint mountain getaway in the Denali borough. please do not book this if you are uncomfortable being away from hustle and bustle and having off-grid amenities. It is easily accessible by car from the Parks Highway, a 30 minute drive from Denali National Park. Enjoy some of your normal comforts while stepping outside your comfort zone with a semi-rustic lodging experience. The space The cabin is a cozy log cabin that has all the essentials for your stay. Most would consider it a "tiny space" but we have made it as efficient as possible! There is a comfy futon bed with memory foam topper - dogs are welcome if they are leashed on the property and are well behaved! This cabin is DRY which means no running water. We provide water for drinking, washing up, dishes etc. If you wish to shower, there are showers for a small fee available at the Vitus gas station or RV park down the road. We are an eco-conscious business so we appreciate people being mindful of their waste and water use. The Cabin is heated by a propane heater. You will have your own outhouse right outside of the cabin, with baby wipes and sanitizer for keeping clean. There is also a fire pit and charcoal bbq so you can relax in your camp chairs and cook a nice meal outside! There is a kitchen area with a 2-burner propane stove, sink and cooler. All cooking and kitchen essentials are provided. we are 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🟰☮️ hosts and invite everyone to join us for a stay 💕 Guest access The cabin is located right off of our road. You can park right next to the cabin off of the road. We recommend renting a car in Anchorage or Fairbanks before coming to the area. We are 4 hours from Anchorage and 2.5 from Fairbanks. Denali National park is a 30 minute drive from the cabin. Other things to note This cabin is off-grid. There is solar power, but it is limited electricity. There is charging capability for small electronics such as smartphones, tablets and laptops. The cabin has lights and USB/DC outlets. There is a cooler for food and sink but we really encourage our guests to be environmentally conscious during their stay. The cabin is a lovely little mixture of glamping and comfort and we are surrounded by some of the most breathtaking views in the area! this rental is rural and in a REMOTE area. please be careful when walking around locally as there could be bears or other wildlife to be considerate of. you can bring bear spray if you like, be sure to make noise when walking on trails and don't leave food and trash out. there are 2 other rentals on site as well as our tour business so you likely will see other people coming and going. The cabin is "DRY" which means no running water - very common in Alaska!
