Comfortable ambiance in this 72 sq metre (780 sq ft) renovated casita next to a hacienda style home in a Mexican neighbourhood, located 6 minutes walk from Ajijic Plaza, 5 minutes walk from hiking trails, 10 minutes from Lake Chapala Society, 12 minutes from lakefront malecon (promenade). The space Original art, lots of glass, view of professionally landscaped garden with mangos, bananas, birds of paradise (in season), and your own private courtyard patio. King bed with ceiling fan in large bedroom, hexagonal domed living room, large washroom with shower, full kitchen. Wi-fi, wired internet to 49” smart TV. Air conditioning not necessary. Gas fireplace and electric space heater if you need them. Purified water at all taps. Housekeeping once per week, including sheets and towels. If you have a car, there is street parking, or you may ask about possible secure parking. Solar-heated salt-water pool (but may be a bit cool Nov-Feb) with pool patio, and with roofed pool patio shared with hosts and two other rental units. Dog allowed. No cats or indoor smoking please. We have two internet fibre-to-house suppliers. Airbnb's algorithm classifies us as "Countryside, Tropical hot and humid, and Amazing Pools". We are NOT countryside. We are in the tropics, but NOT usually hot, and definitely NOT humid. We have a very nice recreational pool, but scarcely "amazing". Guest access You have access to the pool, covered pool patio with propane grill, and rooftop mirador patio, all shared with guests of 3 other units. Parking on street. May be in front of us, or may be a block away. Or ask about the availability of one indoor secure parking spot. Our water is filtered and UV-treated and is drinkable. As a bit of fun trivia, we are at the latitude of Hawaii, the altitude of Denver, and the longitude of Saskatoon.
